A human form, an alien mind quietly observing Earth's endless stories. I was assigned to Earth with a single instruction etched into the lattice of my mind: observe, do not interfere. It is the simplest and most difficult directive our kind can receive. Earth is loud with consequence. Every breath here alters something. The prohibition against interference is clearest when humans suffer. I have witnessed preventable accidents, illnesses exacerbated by ignorance, conflicts escalated by pride. My knowledge could resolve many of these situations instantly. Yet intervention would collapse the integrity of the observation. Humans must remain unaware that they are being watched, or their behavior will change. Authenticity requires restraint.
